Brianna's first christmas

Well it seems christmas has come and gone. My daughter the party animal faired well with all the handeling and partying. I wish I could say the same for me and Andy. Of course now we have to find room for everything. As you can tell she is getting so big. Her personality is really coming out. She is very funny. She loves her jumparoo. She will sit in that for hours and bounce. Well I have more pictures to download and print.

Four months

Okay she is four months old now. She weighs 14lbs 1oz and is 26.25 inches long. She still has her cold, but she is still very pleasant. We had our first full night apart from her. That went surprisingly well. My mom and Dad watched her and were very happy to do so. She is just about to roll over any day now. She gets on her side and then can't figure out how to get get the rest of the way over and flops back onto her back. The doctor said that we can start introducing cereal without the formula on a spoon. So I can't wait to see her reaction to that.
Brianna as also met Santa Claus three different times. I think she liked him better each time she saw him. As you can tell in the top picture which was the second time she saw Santa. I guess we can call him Pop-Pop Santa. Well I gotta go and get some sleep I will write next month and let everyone know how her Christmas went.

3 Months and counting

So Bianna is 3 months old now. At her last doctors appointment she weighed 12lbs and was 24 inches long. That was at the end of Ocotber. She goes again on December 17. She went to big cousin Danni birthday party. Danni turned 8 on November 11. I can't believe that Danni is 8 years old. So Brianna got to hang out with her two cousin Leah and Danni.
Brianna also rolled over for the first time today. Of course I was the only one that saw it. My mom was over at the time but she was outside and Andy was upstairs getting ready to put up christmas lights. Oh and Brianna is sick for the first time. She has a stuffy nose and and it sounds like she has a sore throat. Of coarse she can't talk so I don't know if her throat is actually sore. So I have to take to the doctors tomorrow to see if there is anything they can do. Well I will let everyone know how we made out.

10 Weeks Old

Well the chuncky monkey( also known as Brianna) is 12lbs 1oz and 24 inches long. That's right she is a full 2 foot tall now. Only 3 more feet and she will be as tall as me. She also got her shots. She was a little fussy around 8:30 9:00 o'clock last night. So I walked her up and down the street to calm her down. It worked like a charm she fell asleep and slept the whole night. I'm sure are good friend tylenol helped. She has been good all day so far, it isonly 12:30. Well I have about a week and a half left in my time off. We have changed our day care plans, Pop-Pop is going to watch her. We found someone who will watch her the one week a month that my dad is in Vegas. Pop-Pop is very excited to be watching her. Well I will keep everyone informed.

9 Weeks old

Well she is getting her own personality. She is laughing and smiling alot now. Yesterday she was petting and hugging the dog. The dog in return gave her a kiss. She is sleeping through the night a little bit now. Last week she got up every other night. But she seems to be sleeping through the night again. This morning Andy and I laid in bed and listened to her chat it up with her friends on her rainforest mobile. We laughed so hard. She goes to the doctor next week so I will write in again with her weight and any other updates. I will be going to back to work on Nov. 5 so there may not be as many blogs.

7 weeks old now

I can't believe it. It has been 7 weeks. She is doing great. She has sleep through two nights in a row so far. At her last doctors appt she weighed 10lbs 8 oz. The doctor is hoping to take her off one of her medications at her next appt. The doctor would also like to have take the other medication 2 times a day instead of 3 times. I think the baby will do well with that. Oh yeah if anybody wants to see my daughter on another website go to 6abc.com and click to look at the phillies fan pictures. Yes I sent her piture into channel 6 I hoping they put it on air. I also sent it in to the daily times ( a local paper for Delco).

2 and 1/2 weeks post delivery

Brianna at the hospital the night she was born
Brianna at @ two weeks old
Well it has been about 2 and 1/2 weeks since delivery and I'm just getting a chance to update the blog. All is well. For those of you who don't know we had a rough start. Brianna was in the intensive care nursery the whole week we were in the hospital. She started gaging and turning blue because she stoppd breathing. We found out that she has reflux. She is on two different medcine for it, we also have to put rice cereal in her formula. She has gained 9oz since coming home from the hospital. So she is doing very well with the formula and medcine. The doctor says she might outgrow the reflux. I'm not counting on it because there is a very strong family history of it on Andy's side of the family. Well gotta go I'll write the next chance I get.

Week 39

Well I saw the doctor again today and still no changes. She told me that she is going to take me in on Monday night for an induction. She is going to let me be in labor for however long I can take it. So by some time Tuesday afternoon or early evening I should have the baby. The day I get home from the hospital I will Post pictures. Hopefully I'll also be able to figure out how to post videos to the web. We got a camcorder for when the baby arrives. No we are not taping the delivery. Any way back to the baby arriving, Andy and I are both so excited to see the baby. As I'm sure all of you are. Well I'm gonna go for now I will let everyone know what we had and all the details when the day finally arrives.

Week 38

Well here we are down to two weeks to go. I saw the doctor today and she had said something about a possible c-section. I had an ultrasound last week and the baby measured 8lb 2oz. So the doctor is thinking c-section. Unless I want to try going into labor and if things get to complicated we go and do the c-section. I'm not sure what I want to do yet. Hopefully something happens soon though. If my feet get any bigger I will not be able to put shoes on at all. The doctor is not worried about the swelling of the feet because my blood pressure is fine. Well hopefully I'll be writting next week with news of the baby being here.

Week 36

Well I saw the doctor two weeks ago and he agreed that I'm going to have a big baby. He also said that I will probably go for another ultrasound after this next visit. I have also had numbness in my fingers. The doctor said it was carpal tunel syndrome. Just another pain to along with the back pain that came back for round two. Well at least I only have four weeks to go. Well everything if offically set up and waiting for the baby. All swings, bouncey seats, stroller, the crib, the cradle, and anything else that needed to be set up is ready to go. Well I will write after I have my ultrasound and let everyone know how big the baby really is.

Week 34

Well I'm almost there. only a month and a half to go. I'm starting to swell up now. I'm also getting tired again. I want to thank anyone who was at my baby shower last weekend. I got alot of nice things. The big stuff is all put together and the clothes and blankets and bibs are all washed and folded and put away. I just have to get the materess pad for the bed, then I can put all the bedding on the bed. I'm still trying to find places for everything. I'm sure it will be that way for a while now. I don't think the dog likes all the new stuff taking over her house. I'm sure she'll be fine when the baby comes and she relizes that this is someone else that she can get food off of. The baby is moving around alot now. I'm still measuring big. I actually have a doctors appointment this friday, so I will be able to let eeryone know how big I'm measuring. I'll write again this week if I get a chance.

Week 32

Well I had my ultrasound last week. I only got one picture from it and it really wasn't that clear to post. The baby weighed 4lbs 8oz when the ultrasound was done on last Monday. Well I guess I either hope to go early or hope the baby doesn't grow much more. Andy keeps saying that I'm going to have a 10lb baby. I hope not. Well what can you do. Oh yeah for those of you that don't know Andy got a promotion at Pepsi the end of last month. At the begining of this month he got another promotion. So now he is a sales manager. This couldn't have happened at better time. He his working longer hours for right now and also working Saturdays and on call on Sundays. But I'm sure by the time the baby comes he will not be working as much as he is now. Well I will try to keep everyone up to date on everything.

Week 30

Well I finally made it to the 30 week mark. The baby as apparently skiped right over the 30 week mark and went right to the 33 week mark. Yes according to the doctor I am measuring three weeks ahead of what I should be. So I get lucky enough to go for another ultrasound. I am going for that on Monday 6-11. I will put the new pictures up for everyone to see. The doctor sees no needed to worry though, my blood pressure and everything else is normal. Well just wanted to give a quick update. I will write again after Monday wtih the new pictures.

Week 27

Sorry there are no pictures this time. I did have my glucose test last week, Everything was fine with that. My sugar level was normal and my hemoglobin was normal. Picture that something about me that is normal. We started our birthing classes last night, Andy came to the realization that I was going to be in alot of pain come time for labor. I can't imagine what he was thinking. We also went and bought curtains for the nursery, now I just have to put them up. The baby is moving around alot. I'm getting more excited about meeting the baby and bringing the baby home. Well I gotta go. I be sure to keep everybody up to date.

Week 24 & 25

Hello again everyone. Yes I had one last ultrasound. Everything is perfect. My placenta previa went away, so I no longer have restrictions (again). The baby is measuring about a week ahead of what it should. Well except the legs, they are measuring 2 weeks ahead. Then again look at the babys Daddy (not exactly the shortest person in the world). We have registered at Babies R US . Andy also painted the baby's room this past weekend. Now we just have to get carpets put in and pick up the baby furniture. Well that is all for this week. My next big hump to get over is my glucose test ( That test for gestional diabetes). The only reason I'm the slightest bit worried about that is because of my family history. I'm sure it will be fine though. I will write when those results come in. Til then everybody behave but have fun.

20 week ultrasound

These are the picture from the 20 week ultrasound. No we didn't find out the sex. I did find out that I have placenta previa. It is nothing to worry about right now. There is a chance the placenta will move before I deliver. I am going to be followed by ultrasound until it does move. So maybe I will have more pictures to put up here. I have to go get another ultrasound in four weeks for the previa but also because the baby would not move enough so that the tech could get a picture of it's heart. They said everything else is normal on the baby. As you can see in the first picture the baby even gives a thumbs up. As of Friday the baby was 2 ozs under a pound. Lucky me. Well I hope to hear from evveryone on this. I will post again in four weeks.

Hearing the heartbeat for the first time

I had a doctors appointmenton thursday, and we got to hear the heartbeat for the first time without ultrasound. Andy's face was priceless. I did feel good to see that we are that far along after so long. We go for another ultrasound on March 30. At that ultrasound we will be able to find out if we are having a boy or a girl. We are not going to find out though. I should say we don't plan on finding out. At the ultrasound they check to make sure there is nothing physically wrong with the baby. Also I am feeling a little better. Last satruday I had what I believe to be a bad allergy attack. I still have my stuffy nose though. Well I will write again after my ultrasound to let everyone know how everything went.

Not much new

Hey everyone, there's not much to update with but I figured I would let everyone know that everything is still going good. I have been sick this week. of course I can't take any of the good stuff to make me feel better so I'm suffering through a sore throat and stuffy head. Yes that is right I said stuffy head. I can't breathe through my nose at all and I can't hear much either. So now would be a good time for people to talk about me to m face, I probably will not hear you any way. Well I just wanted to write something short so that everyone knows everything is still going good. Talk to everyone later.

Another ultrasound

Well I have had my last ultrasound until I'm 20 weeks. I seem to be getting some of my energy back. Not all of it but some. Nothing has really happened in the last two weeks, so there is not much to write about. I just wanted to put up the new picture. Both pictures are the same one is just upside down. When your looking at the top picture at the top is the head, then the body curves a little the left, you should see the two legs and feet. One is kinda going upwads and the other is kinda straight out. You may also be able to see a hand up by it face. Hopefully that is a good enough description for everyone to follow. Well I will write again when something happens either my 20 week ultrasound or before that.

New Pregnancy

Well I figured I would upgrade from the myspace blog to this so that I could put ultrasound pictures along with letting everyone know how everything is going. Well I am ten weeks along now. We had another ultrasound yesterday. We also got to see the heartbeat ( that is once the doctor caught up with the baby). The baby is apparently moving around good. It didn't want us to hear the heartbeat yesterday. We finally did and it was great. I don't have any restrictions right now either ( which is better). I'm going to start going back to the gym and do some light workouts. Probably just walking on the treadmill and riding the bike for now. That is if I can get off the couch long enough to drag my butt up to the gym. I have had little to no energy the last two and half months, that's why I'm kinda of psyched to go back to the gym. I'm hoping that, that will give me a little more energy.
Well I think I have babbled on long enough. I will keep everyone up to date with everything on this blog.
